Course Purpose |
The aim is to learn how to research and how to present the contents of the research on topics in Automotive Engineering.
At the end of this course, students are supposed to acquire the following knowledge: 1. Understand the nature of research activities related to automotive engineering. 2. Understand how to proceed a research project, present results obtained and write a final report as the dissertation. |
Prerequisite Subjects |
All the subjects that students have learned. |
Course Topics |
The student is required to report at the laboratory's meetings to be held several times in a semester to get advice from the supervisor and laboratory members. As the research and thesis approach completion, the student prepares an oral presentation of the thesis with the supervisor. The student is required to defend the thesis.
You may need to do lab work outside the regular course hours. |

Grade Assessment |
The evaluation will be based on the student's reports at the laboratory meetings, the oral presentation/defense and the thesis. |
