Course Purpose |
The aim of this course is to deepen the understanding of calculus and to cultivate the ability to apply mathematical knowledge.
The course is mainly intended for students taking Calculus I. Students will have the opportunity to manipulate the various notions introduced during the lectures. |

Exercises sheets will be provided each week before the tutorial, and will be available on the web site of the course. Homework will be due every week during the tutorial. Solutions to the exercises will then be posted on the web site.

Grade Assessment |
The final grade will be determined by homework (50%) and quizzes (50%). The grading scale will be A+, A, B, C, C-, F.
Depending if the study sessions are compulsory or elective, the criteria are slightly different. For precise information, discuss with the instructor. |
Notes |
Some basic knowledge on calculus from high school is assumed, including differentiation and integration of polynomial functions.
