•Course Purpose
The purpose of this course is to provide students with expertise in quantum chemistry and thermodynamics, which are fundamental to the properties of matter and the physical aspects of chemical phenomena.

Students should be able to understand the first and second laws of thermodynamics and explain the relationship between enthalpy, entropy, free energy and chemical reactions.

If the overall attendance is less than 75 % or absent from the final exam, it will be treated as "Absent (W)". Otherwise, will give the grade of SABCF.
