•Course Purpose
In order to utilize the knowledge, qualities and abilities to develop engineering, it is necessary to deepen the understanding of acquired knowledge. In this course, Solid State Chemistry, Structural Chemistry and Electrochemistry, and Quantum Chemistry II are set as backgrounds, and the purpose of this course is to cultivate skills applicable to engineering by solving exercises in these fields.

By the end of this course, students should be able to do the following:

1. Apply the following knowledge to specific problems.
- Solid State Chemistry
- Structural Chemistry and Electrochemistry
- Quantum Chemistry II

2. Acquire the foundation of applied and comprehensive skills required for future professional research.

•Prerequisite Subjects
Crystal Chemistry, Inorganic Synthetic Chemistry, Structural Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Quantum Chemistry

•Course Topics
1. Solid State Chemistry
2. Structural Chemistry and Electrochemistry
3. Quantum Chemistry II
4. Term-end examination

Except for the term-end examination, students must complete the required assignments before every class.

Textbooks are not specified, but the required documents describing the assignments will be distributed during the guidance.

•Grade Assessment
Your overall grade in the course will be decided based on the following:
- Every assignment and attitude during lectures: 60%
- Term-end examination: 40%

The ability to solve the following problems and have a correct understanding of the basic concepts and terms in these fields will be the criteria for passing the course.

Credits will be awarded to those students who score 60 or more out of 100 points. Grades are as follows:
