•Course Purpose
Advanced topics on physics of fluid are lectured to understand the physical mechanism and to obtain the mathematical and/or computational method of the analysis.

•Prerequisite Subjects
Mechanics of continuum

•Course Topics
(1) Basic equations of flow dynamics
(2) Motions in perfect fluid
(3) Motions in viscous fluid
are given in the lecture.
Fundamental concepts and analytical methods for some flow phenomena in the following topics are lectured:
(a)Stability (Thermal convection etc.), (b) Vortex motion, (d) Computational fluid dynamics
